Youth festival held

Gurajala (Guntur): The Department of Youth Affairs inaugurated a division-level youth festival here on Saturday. MLA Yarapatineni Sreenivsa Rao, speaking on the occasion, called upon the youth to be active in extra-curricular activities including cultural activities and sports for their integrated development. He said that sports and cultural activities help them to develop in a wholesome manner and have a holistic perspective of life.

Earlier, the MLA lighted a lamp and inaugurated the youth festival. Several competitions were organised to mark the occasion. Youth presented cultural performances. Revenue Divisional Officer E Murali spoke on the occasion. Piduguralla Market Yard Chairman Vinod Reddy also spoke.
