In response to a call given by SP Ake Ravikrishna, 83 Sub-Inspectors, 34 Circle Inspectors, DSPs and other police personnel adopted the schools in faction-ridden villages to bring about a social change by promoting socio-economic awareness among the people.

They adopted 16 schools in Allagadda, 24 in Dhone, 29 in Adoni, 35 in Kurnool, 20 in Nandyal and 17 in Atmakur police sub-divisions.
