The form that was displayed in the immediate earlier match against Tripura, was nowhere in sight as Hyderabad was shot out for a pathetic 145 runs after being put into bat by Jharkhand on the first day of the Ranji Trophy Group ‘C’ match at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, here on Tuesday.

At stumps, the visitor’s were 31 runs for the loss of one wicket, which came courtesy of medium pacer CV Milind. Hyderabad opener P Akshat Reddy failed to capitalize on the fifth over reprieve he got when he bowled of a Rahul Shukla no-ball. His stay in the middle was short-lived.

Shabhaz Nadeem put an attacking field for Tanmay Agarwal (14), G H Vihari (13) and the rest of the lot that followed. Only B Sandeep (39) offered some resistance and delayed the inevitable. Nadeem, Kaushal and Jaskaran shared three wickets each.

Brief scores: Hyderabad 145(B Sandeep 39, Tanmay Agarwal 23, Shabhaz Nadeem 3/ 33, Kushal Singh 3/35, Jaskaran Singh 3/32) vs Jharkhand 31 for one
