In the wake of the defeat faced by Telangana TDP in the Warangal LS bypolls, the party is gearing up for the upcoming MLC elections. Telangana TDP leaders have decided to declare 12 candidates in all the 12 MLC seats going for the polls in order to win as many seats they can.
The MLC elections will be held for two MLC seats each in Rangareddy, Mahbubnagar and Karimnagar districts along with one MLC seat each in other districts.
Meanwhile TRS already has named seven candidates and are planning to name the remaining five candidates names soon. Congress too is planning to field eight candidates and have announced the names of three candidates.
