Chief Minister praises Futsal international players

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated and praised the Futsal India players for winning the International Indoor Futsal Championship which was held in Nepal in the first week of July. Andhra Pradesh Futsal players, who represented India, met the Chief Minister N Chandrababu in his chamber at the secretariat in Velagapudi on Monday night.

Chief Minister Chandrababu inquired about the game. He said that students would participate in sports and games and show their talent and win medals. Playing sports and games would help as additional qualifications for seats in higher education and getting jobs in government organisations, he added.

CM Chandrababu further said that the state government is giving top priority to sports and adopted to promote New Sports Policy. Andhra Pradesh Futsal Association chairman Venkata Thakoor, president P Anand Babu, general secretary T Venkata Rao, treasurer N Saida Rao, coach Kakarla Srinivasa Rao and others met the CM N Chandrababu Naidu.
