Delhi based GM customs has modified a Hero Karizma into a Suzuki Hayabusa copy. The motorcycle has commendable attention to detail and from no angle reveals any loose bits and parts. The Suzuki Hayabusa is an acclaimed popular sports bike in the world. Post its stint in Bollywood’s Dhoom movie, the hyper sports bike got a massive fan following in India.

GM customs has replaced the Karizma ZMR’s entire body panels with the Hayabusa’s. The front fairing, fuel tank, rear seat cowl with the integrated tail-light, twin large exhaust, wheels and the tyres are all of the Hayabusa. There is a custom swingarm on which the rear monoshock is mounted. Telescopic forks have been retained at the front.

The aftermarket alloy wheels get fatter rubber. The modified motorcycle gets twin discs at the fron but one of them is a dummy, and only on close inspection is this evident. The rear disc is the stock disc from the Karizma. There is also a replica instrument cluster with the speedometer marked all the way up to 280 km/hr! While the switchgear is stock, the handlebar features a Hayabusa logo.

The engine in the modified Karizma is the stock unit itself, so don’t expect this modified Hero bike to hit speeds a Hayabusa is capable of. The 223cc oil-cooled and fuel-injected engine puts out 20 HP of power and 19.7 Nm of torque. This powertrain is matched to a 5-speed gearbox.
