Amaravathi Vision - 2017
Ophthalmologists state conference ‘Amaravati Vision -2017’ will be held on October 13,14 and 15 under the aegis of Vijayawada Academy of Ophthalmologists said its chairman Dr V Sambasiva Rao. Addressing a press meet held in the city today, he said, the conference will be held in the Dhanekula Kalyana Manapam at Kanur in Vijayawada.
He said, they will live telecast a surgery and explain eye problems like eye cancer, razor surgery for cataract, retina surgery for patients suffering from BP, Sugars and clarify their doubts.
He further said that they will conduct seminars and meetings to the students studying ophthalmology courses. He said, over one thousand ophthalmologists from various districts in the state will participate in the convention. We will conduct seminars, power point presentations to explain about surgeries to the ophthalmologists. He urged the ophthalmologists to participate in the conference and make a grand success. He said, the conference will come under continuous education to the ophthalmologists.
Adviser to the Government of India, Ophthalmic sciences, Dr.Atul Kumar, LV Prasad Eye Institute chairman Dr Gullapalli N Rao, minister for Irrigation, Devnineni Uma Maheswara Rao, MLA Gadde Ram Mohan will participate in the inaugural session.
VAO president A.Srinivas,its secretary G.V.Narendra, treasurer Dr.K.V.Ravi Kumar were also present at the meet.
