RTC introducing special services for the auspicious month
Rajamahendravaram: Officials of APSRTC East Godavari region is putting in serious efforts to increase income by operating special services in the auspicious months this year as well.
Rajamahendravaram: Officials of APSRTC East Godavari region is putting in serious efforts to increase income by operating special services in the auspicious months this year as well.
According to regional manager C Ravi Kumar, during the auspicious Dhanurmasam month (from December 15 to January 15) special buses will be operational to nine Janardhana Swamy temples located in East Godavari district, under Nava Janardhana Parijatham (NJP) programme. NJP started a decade ago and are running successfully while the RTC is encourging spirtitual tourists, he said. During the Karthika Masam, a number of buses operated under the Pancharama Kshetra Darshini to Amaravathi, Bhimavaram, Palacole, Draksharama and Samalkot. Moreover RTC is ready to operate special buses to Sabarimala for Ayyappas, he added.
