Vijayawada: Fathima Medical College students’ relay fast entered 16th day on Wednesday. They demanded that the government relocate them to other medical colleges in the state without further delay to save their academic year.

They said, “Due to delay in decision making, they are losing a whole academic year.” They appealed to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to keep up his assurance and relocate them in other medical colleges and do justice to them.

A parent of student Md Nanne Khan said, “If the government will take action, their problem will be solved within a day.” He criticised the government for neglecting the problems of the students. Minister for Medical and Health, Kamineni Srinivas did nothing to solve the problem of the students during the last 16-days, he added. He questioned how the government allowed admission in the Fathima Medical College and requested The CM to take the necessary steps and solve their problem. Fathima Medical College student Shahrukh Khan demanded the arrest of the medical college management for cheating them.
