CM to launch beach festival on Dec 19
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to visit East Godavari to inaugurate the three-day Beach Festival on December 19.
Kakinada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to visit East Godavari to inaugurate the three-day Beach Festival on December 19.
District Collector Kartikeya Mishra and SP Vishal Gunni on Tuesday reviewed the arrangements for the proposed visit of the CM to Kakinada. Issues relating to CM’s visit and beach festival were thoroughly discussed in this meeting. They also discussed for helipad at Kakinada, arrangements for VIPs’ visit and a traffic plan for public moment.
Organising separate parking places at different places, including ONGC place near NTR beach to avoid traffic jams, separate ways for public and VIPs to reach the festival location without any hurdles were suggested by the Collector. Keeping in view of the past experience, they discussed on expected crowds for this beach festival this year. The authorities are exercising different options to make this event a hassle-free one.
