Rajamahendravaram: Former Lok Sabha member of Rajahmundry Vundavilli Arun Kumar, on Tuesday suggested the All India Congress President Sonia Gandhi to table a no-confidence motion against the BJP-led government.

Addressing a press conference at Anam Rotary Hall here on Tuesday, Arun Kumar said that he had written a four-page letter to the AICC chief. “I asked her why she remained silent on the Andhra Pradesh State Bifurcation Act. She should discuss the issues on AP State Bifurcation Act under the 184th clause,” he said.

Arun Kumar further said that Governor Narasimhan had also the responsibility on his shoulders on implementing the Bifurcation Act. He asked the Telugu Desam Chief and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that he should release a white paper on the Polavaram Project. He also questioned the CM that the CM was saying that he borrowed Rs 1 lakh crore and spent on different developmental works in the State. Arun Kumar also demanded that the CM to release a white paper on the expenditure of Rs one lakh crore in the State.

He demanded a probe on all the works which were executed by the borrowed money.
