CPM state convention to be held in Bhimavaram
CPM State Committee convention would be held in Bhimavaram from February 10 to 12, according to P Madhu, Secretary, CPM Andhra Pradesh unit.

Addressing the media at Sundarayya Bhavan in Mentevari Thota here on Friday, he said that the CPM organised various agitations in West Godavari district that attracted the nation including the Aqua Mega Food Park in Tundurru and Garagaparru social boycott issues. Following these agitations, the CPM state committee had decided to conduct state convention for three days in Bhimavaram in February.
The CPM leader said that his party would organise a seminar on January 4 to discuss the problems of farmers in the state. Noted economist Prabhath Patnayak will address the Seminar. The seminar will discuss the farmers’ problems relating to loan waiver, minimum support price and other issues, Madhu added.
CPM Delta Committee Secretary B Balaram, former MLA R Satyanarayana Raju (RS), Upland committee Secretary Chintakayala Babu Rao, State committee member Mantena Sitaram also participated in the media conference.
