Kapu reservation eats into BCs’ share: Gangula
Andhra Pradesh State BC Welfare Association general secretary Gangula Surya Rao has said that five percent reservation to Kapu community will affect a lot to BC communities. The government cheated 143 BC categories by covering them under the Kapu community under reservation, he said.

Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Monday, he said that the BC population in the state was 49 percent and how could the government provide justice to BCs by giving reservations to Kapus in jobs and education. Kapu community would get a majority of jobs with the reservation. How could the BC students studying in government schools compete with the students of Kapu community studying in corporate schools in jobs, he questioned.
Kapus would get the seats in educational institutions with their influence with the reservations.
He appealed to BCs to fight united until the government renders justice.
