Pochampally IKAT Art Mela-2017 begins

Vijayawada: A 6- day 'Pochampally IKAT Art Mela 2017' began at Sri Raghuraama Vedika here on Friday.Film actress Pooja Sree inaugurated the mela.

Speaking on this occasion, she said that Ikat fabrics, Ikat silk and cotton saris were showcased for the handloom lovers in the city and added that platforms such as these were required to reach out women looking for well-designed handmade cotton and silk wear.
The expo will be continue till December 13.

Handloom products like handmade dress materials, silk, cotton sarees in exquisite designs, contemporary colours by famous designers, skillfully created by world famous weavers of Pochampally ranging from home textile to apparel fabrics were for sale, according to organisers.
