Bapu remembered on his birth Anniversary

Rajamahendravaram: Renowned artist and cine director Bapu was remembered on his birthday with many of his friends and well-wishers garlanded his statue on Godavari bund here on Friday.

Later, Brown Mandir chief Sannidhanam Sastry said Bapu was a torchbearer whose paintings and movies brought fame and recognition to the state. “The unforgettable personality is still alive in the hearts of the Telugus. His paintings relating to epic Maha Bharatham and Ramayanam were feathers in his cap,” he added.

Other participants said that one should try to emulate his mastery and urged the government to do something in memory of the great man.
