He participated as a chief guest in a meeting organised by the Satya Sai Seva Samithi on Bhagavan Puttaparthi Satya Sai Baba and spoke on the prominence of the incarnation of Baba.
He said that Baba often advised his disciples that the world was one family. He further informed that Satya Sai Nilayam (The Abode of Satya Sai) was a place where all the religions, races, castes and creed are treated with equal honour. He also said that the importance of the incarnation of Baba was to uplift society on all fronts.
Anil also said that Baba recognised the need for women empowerment much before the governments thought about it. “The Satya Sai Institutes were established in the state for a revolutionary change in society,” he said.
Akkiraju and party enthralled the audience with their renditions of the psalms of Satya Sai. Satya Sai Service Organisation district president Seeta Rambabu, noted writer Jandhayala Suman Babu, Convenor Ashok Babu and Satya Sai devotees participated in the devotional meet.
