Parents asked to be attentive towards children

Kakinada: Oversight and lapses of parents in raising children are the main reasons behind children’s crimes, said noted psychological analyst APJ Visu.
Speaking at an awareness camp on ‘Good Parenting’ which was organised by the Walker’s Association at the Boat Club Park here on Thursday, Visu informed that not only the street children but also children who were having parents also committing crimes and choosing wrong paths.
He further said that children who had entered into teens had adapted to lavish lives, committing many crimes and also teasing women. He also said that the crime rate in children was increasing every year and further advised all the parents to be attentive towards their children. Adabala Ratna Prasad, Bapiraju, Raghava Rao, V Satyanarayana, T Venkatesh and others participated.
