Kakinada: Lions Club Kakinada Gems founder L Krishna Murthy on Wednesday, said that they continue their fight against diabetes as it is increasing by the day. The Lions Club Gems organised a free diabetic screening camp at the Boat Club Park.

Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Murthy said that the Lions International Club was giving priority to hunger, cancer, blindness and environment protection. The Lions International extended its support to control diabetes globally. He said that diabetes could be controlled by a systematic diet.

He stated that nearly thirty percent of the people had no idea that they had been suffering from diabetes. Diabetes can be recognized through the blood tests. MMSN Murthy, V Raja, V Rama Chandra Rao, Adabala Ratna Prasad and others participated in the free blood testing camp.
