QIS organises workshop on MRI scan

The QIS Institute of Technology in Ongole organised a one-day workshop on MRI scan and the technology behind it for the third year ECE students, said the college secretary and correspondent Nidamanuri Kalyan Chakravarthy and the Nidamanuri Educational Trust president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao.

Dr Himabinmdu, resource person for the workshop explained the students that MRI scan is being used to know the nerves and muscle system in the body to identify the deformations, swellings, tumors etc without a cut on human being. She explained the tools and technology behind the manufacturing of the machine. The college principal Dr Subbarao, head of the department Shaik Rahamatulla and teaching staff also participated in the programme.
