Kakinada: The Kakinada Municipal Corporation approved Rs 138.55 crore budget for the year 2018-19 fiscal year on Thursday.
Mayor Sunkara Pavani chaired the special meeting on the budget. When the budget meeting started the Corporation’s Junior Assistant Suri Babu, read out the income and expenditure account summary of the corporation. He read each and every point on the income as well as the expenditure of the 2017-18 fiscal year.
The corporators approved Rs 132.78 crore which was amended from the proposed budget. Kakinada MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao and YSR Congress Party corporators also participated in the budget meeting.
