Guntur: Former Union Minister and BJP national leader Daggubati Purandeswari has said classroom will mould students as future citizens of the country and urged the students to use education as a  weapon to solve problems in society.

She urged the students to do hard work to come up in life and stressed on the need to develop character and discipline. She felt there was a need to improve quality of education. She addressed a meeting held at the national-level technical, sports, cultural festival ‘Vihang -2018’ held at Malineni Paremalla Engineering College here on Thursday.

Yesteryears actor Y Giribabu suggested the students to study courses with  interest to excel in  the field and bring name and fame to the country. He stressed on the need to do hard work to excel in life. Pharmaceutical Association vice-president Dr T V Narayana Murthy said there was bright  future ahead for pharmacy students.
