BJP stages dharna for allotment of funds in budget
BJP activists, corporators and leaders staged a dharna in front of Collectorate here on Friday, seeking a substantial allotment of funds in the state budget for the district development. They raised slogans for the immediate fulfilment of the promises made for the development of the East Godavari district.

They raised slogans for the immediate fulfilment of the promises made for the development of the East Godavari district.
Speaking on this occasion, the leaders informed that the government should immediately start the process of establishing Logistic University, IT Hub and total cleansing and purging of the current drainage system in the city. They also demanded to allot substantial funds for the proposed third bridge on Upputeru in the city. They stated that the state government should allot enough funds for the development of Kakinada in its budget.
