The Collectorate was crowded with the job seekers from all corners of the district here on Friday. The District Collector Kartikeya Mishra issued a job notification for Class IV jobs in different government offices for the SC/ST community persons in the district. Kakinada: The Collectorate was crowded with the job seekers from all corners of the district here on Friday. The District Collector Kartikeya Mishra issued a job notification for Class IV jobs in different government offices for the SC/ST community persons in the district. As per the notification, the last date of submission of application was Friday. However, the Collector extended the date of submission up to March 19.
The applicants gathered and formed long queues to submit applications for various posts mentioned in the notification. Some candidates came with their little children and found it difficult to stand in queues for long time. As the applicants exposed to hot sun, they were thirsty and searched for drinking water.
The Collector issued notification for 229 SC/ST backlog of posts in the district. In that notification, the administration mentioned that the applicants should attain 18 years and less than 47 years of age. They reserved 43 posts for SC women and 47 posts ST women in the announced 229 vacancies for 19 different posts.
