Kakinada: District Collector Kartikeya Mishra and Joint Collector Mallikarjuna inaugurated the mater health check-up programme for all the revenue employees in the district at the Apollo Hospitals here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector Kartikeya Mishra said that there were 2,500 employees in the district. He also informed that the revenue employees would get medical care and check-ups at eight hospitals in the district which were offering medical services to the revenue employees.

Mishra explained that at these eight hospitals, the hospital managements would entertain 10 types of medical tests to the revenue employees. He ordered the DRO to maintain a health record of employees in the district and suggested the revenue employees that they should do the required tests in the master health check-up programme.

During his visit to the Apollo Hospital, the Collector consoled Chilli Durga Prasad who was a victim of Podagatlapalli conflict case and was under treatment at the Apollo. Joint Collector Mallikarjuna, Revenue Association State President Diwakar and District Revenue Association President Pitani Trinadh also spoke in the meeting.

DRO Subba Lakshmi, RDO Raghu Babu, Apollo Hospital Medical Director Chatterji and others participated.
