About 33 students of PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College (PBS) were selected in campus interviews organised by HCL Technologies, Medha Towers branch recently. According to PBS principal Dr M Ramesh, the HCL Technologies had conducted interviews on the college campus to recruit ‘Financial Analyst’ for branch at Medha Towers branch recently. 

Vijayawada: About 33 students of PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College (PBS) were selected in campus interviews organised by HCL Technologies, Medha Towers branch recently. According to PBS principal Dr M Ramesh, the HCL Technologies had conducted interviews on the college campus to recruit ‘Financial Analyst’ for branch at Medha Towers branch recently.

The company conducted three-round interviews and about 770 students studying in final year MBA, BBA and B Com from across the state participated. The company selected 174 students who had performed well in the interviews. Placement Cell head K Sridhar said that out of 174 students, as many as 33 students were from PBS. All the selected students will undergo four-month training at HCL Technologies Coimbatore branch and later they will work at Medha Towers branch, he added.

Director Vemuri Babu Rao said after bifurcation of the state, at the upcoming new capital city Amaravati, the HCL Technologies had started its operations for the first time. It was a proud moment that 33 students of the college had been selected. Dean Rajesh Jampa, the academy president, N Venkateswarlu, P Lakshman Rao, convenor PLS Prasad and others congratulated the selected students.
