Kakinada : The CPI [ML] Liberation leaders and activists organised dharna at the Collectorate here on Monday demanding more compensation to the kin of the victims of Devipatnam launch mishap.
Addressing the dharna party state committee member Y. Arjuna Rao demanded Rs 10 lakh compensation and 5 acres of land to the families of the deceased. He said that due to the incident several families lost their livelihood earner. He also said that this would help these families to get regular income from agriculture land. Party leader Bugata Bangarrao and others spoke.
Party activists from Sankhavaram, Rowtulapudi , Rajavommangi and other areas participated in large numbers.
