After commencing the phase-I, there is a marked improvement in the water flow after the execution of the Purushottamapatnam LI Project, he told the farmers.
The Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, granted Rs 1700 crore for Purushottamapatnam LI project and over Rs 2000 crore to Yeleru Phase-I and Yeleru Phase-II.
