Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar Gandhi has said Smart Pulse Survey (SPS) benefits a lot and advised the people to participate in the survey without fail.

Reviewing the progress of SPS with the officials here on Wednesday, he said that officials were appointed to supervise the progress of the survey and it would be continued up to the end of May. He appealed to the people to avail this opportunity and provide their details in full.

The Commissioner advised the employees who were on survey to work and complete it with accountability. Any lapses in conducting SPS would be viewed seriously, he warned. On May 24, the SPS would be held in the divisions from 11 to 20 from 10 am to 5 pm, he added. Later, town project officer Joga Rao briefed the progress of survey to the Commissioner.

In a press note, the Commissioner said Aadarana Scheme would help artisans and asked them to avail the scheme judiciously. The interested beneficiaries should register their names in AP Online or at Mee Seva centres. The loan limit depends on the unit.

Out of total amount, the government's subsidy would be 70 percent. While 20 percent would be the bank loan, 10 percent would be shared by the beneficiary.
Aadarana Scheme is a boon to the artisans, he added.
