Akiveedu: YSRCP president and opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy reached Aredu village in Undi Assembly constituency on Thursday as part of his marathon walk Praja Sankalpa Yatra.

He started his walk in the constituency from Aredu village and received many representations from the villagers.

From Aredu he toured the other villages and in the afternoon he reached Kolamuru village.
The villagers of Agadala Lanka in Bhimadole mandal met the opposition leader at Aredu and submitted a memorandum stating that they were not getting protected drinking water and handed over to him the greenish water which they were consuming daily in the village.

The villagers requested Jagan to provide protected drinking water. They also requested him to take necessary steps to allow them to cultivate in Kolleru villages.

They also requested him to establish a 30-beded hospital in Kolleru villages.
In Kolamuru village, the villagers told the opposition leader that they were facing health problems due to contaminated drinking water which was supplied from the nearby canal in the village.

They said even they represented the officials over the issue no one had responded to it.
Jagan assured them that he would look into the issue and also assured them that all villages would be provided with purifier water plants once he is voted to power.
