Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa has said that the TDP will continue to fight against injustice done to AP in a peaceful manner. As part of this, Dhrama Porata Deeksha will be organised in Rajamahendravarram on June 29.

Speaking to media persons at district TDP office here on Saturday evening, the Deputy CM said that the TDP would never compromise on the issue and continue the Dharma Porarta Deeksha at different places in the state till their goal was reached.

Chinarajappa said that the TDP had taken up several developmental activities including provision of water for irrigation to Rayalaseema, particularly to Kadapa district. The deputy CM claimed that the Polavaram project would be completed as per the schedule as it was the dream project of five crore people of the state.

Coming down heavily on the YSRCP leader Jagan, the deputy CM commented that he turned out as puppet in the hands of the BJP. Whatever the BJP says from backdoor, Jagan was uttering those wards. He termed both YSRCP and Jana Sena Party as two sides of the same coin in the extension of support to BJP.

Commenting on YS Japan’s remarks on TDP, Chinarajappa advised him to let the people know first about amassing of wealth to the tune of Rs 43,000 crore by him through corrupt practices before leveling charges on others.

Turning his attention on his Home ministry, the deputy CM said that the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had signed the file revising the wages of home guards from the present Rs 300 to Rs 600 per day with immediate effect. In total, 4,000 home guards across the district would be benefitted from this enhancement, he added.

Kakinada MLA V Venkateswara Rao, DCC Bank chairman Varupula Raja, TDP city unit president Sunkara Tirumala Kumar and others were present.
