Congress celebrates Rahul birthday
The Congress leaders in East Godavari district celebrated the 48th birthday of Rahul Gandhi in a different way at Kala Vankata Rao Congress Bhavan in Kakinada and Congress office at Mandapeta in the district.

In Kakinada, DCC president Pantam Venkateswara Rao alias Nanaji and other leaders cut the birthday cake and later distributed saris to women.
Speakers at the birthday celebrations hailed Rahul as the future prime minister of the country and leader of masses.
Local Congress leaders Nurukurti Venkateswara Rao, city Congress president Akula Venkata Ramana and large number of the party leaders and activists participated.
At the programme organised at Congress office in Mandapeta in the district, AICC member and AP Congress Committee official spokesperson Kamana Prabhakara Rao organised the birthday celebrations in a different way.
All religious prayers were performed as part of the celebrations and sweets were distributed to children. Speaking on the occasion, Kamamna Prabhakar Rao said that Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi stood as builders of modern India and soon Rahul would follow their footsteps.
He hailed Rahul as next prime minster of India. Congress activists in large numbers participated.
