Two shops dealing in counterfeit Fastrack watches raided

The team of Governorpet Police Station along with Enforcement of Intellectual property rights (EIPR) carried raids at two shops on Besant road and Vaizulla Saheb Street.
Vijayawada: The team of Governorpet Police Station along with Enforcement of Intellectual property rights (EIPR) carried raids at two shops on Besant road and Vaizulla Saheb Street.
The cops were informed by EIPR about this places dealing in fake fastrack watch at their place. Cops on the complaint raided Teja Varieties and procured 200 fake watches and arrested one Sambi Reddy (56).
Further, it was known that Teja Varieties was procuring the counterfeit Fastrack material from a supplier i.e. Maa Durga Times located in Vaizulla Saheb Street.
Cops raided the place and seized another 81 counterfeit Fastrack watches. Cops arrested Hari Singh from Maa Durga Times shop. The two were arrested under section 63 of copyright act, 1957.
