Protest over traffic problems held at Kakinada

​Kakinada: The residents of Income Tax Colony Bhavan Nagar and surrounding areas at Kakinada - Samarla Kota road staged road blockade here on Monday, demanding that the authorities control and regularise traffic in their area.

The residents complained that due to lack of traffic control measures in the areas, several accidents were occurring in the vicinity. They reminded that one resident of their area died when his two-wheeler was hit from behind by unknown vehicle. Due to the road blockade protest, traffic on the busy road halted for an hour.Later, memoranda were submitted to revenue, police and R and B authorities.
