Rajamahendravaram: The government has introduced feeder ambulances in the agency area to shift the patients to the hospitals in emergency where 108 ambulances cannot reach. 

The feeder ambulances were kept ready at many places in the agency area.

Rampachodavaram Sub-Collector Dr V Vinod Kumar drove the feeder ambulance from Boduluru village of Maredumilli mandal to Nookakativada village.

Later, he said the government was ready to sanction any number of feeder ambulances to shift the patients to primary health centres. 

There was no dearth of funds in this regard, he said.

Feeder ambulances can be used where 108 ambulances are not available and also for quick shifting of the patients even from small roads, he added.
