Rajamahendravaram: BJP leaders organised a one-day hunger strike at Sub-collector's office here on Monday, demanding that the government supply Godavari water to Katheru which was adjacent to the river.
The government was not responding to the demand of the people though they were facing drinking water problem. Later, they submitted a memorandum to Sub-collector CM Saikanth Varma. BJP leaders Dharwada Rama Krishna, A Sridhar and others were present.
