Kakinada: Teachers affiliated to UTF participated in relay fast camp at East Godavari DEO office here on Monday, demanding that the authorities cancel deputation to East Godavari agency.
Addressing the camp, East Godavari UTF district secretary K Ramesh Kumar said that 230 teachers selected in 2016 DSC for plain areas have been kept under deputation in the last two years in East Godavari agency against the norms of selection.
Ramesh Kumar said that though they represented the issue to DEO no action has been initiated in the last 28 days. He demanded that the authorities post back the teachers to plain areas as per the process, under which they were selected.
