Kakinada: East Godavari SP Vishal Gunni called upon the people to take up sapling plantation as social responsibility.
Participating in Vanam- Manam programme at the newly-constructed district police office buildings on Wednesday, the SP said that as per the wish of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and DGP Thakur, the sapling plantation has been taken up in both district police office and in the police stations in the district.
The police officials S Murali Mohan, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, Appa Rao and others participated.
