Sports play important role in life: MP Dr P Ravindra Babu

Vijayawada: Amalapuram Member of Parliament Dr P Ravindra Babu said that sports play an important role in our life.

The MP participated as the chief guest at the prize distribution programme to the winners of XIX Andhra Pradesh State Shooting Championship 2018 organised by Rifle Association of India.

The championship was held from August 14 to 18 at SATS Shooting Range, Gachibowli.

He distributed the prizes to the winners of the championship in various categories.

Muthyala Rao stood first in Small bore free rifle three position 50 meters junior men, Small bore free rifle prone 50 meters men individual, Small bore free rifle prone 50meters junior men individual, Small bore free rifle three position 50m men individual events, and with Bronze he stood third in – Air Rifle10m Junior Men Individual.

Takshasila IAS Academy Managing Director Dr BSN Durga Prasad won one gold and one silver medal at XIXth Andhra Pradesh State Shooting Championship 2018. 

Prasad won gold medal in 25 meters individual category and silver in 50 meters individual category.
