Leaders recall association with Hari Krishna in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: TDP leaders and cadre paid rich tributes to TDP senior leader Nandamuri Hari Krishna here on Wednesday. The leaders said the death of Hari Krishna was a great loss to the party as well as to the state.

Participating in the condolence meeting, Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna said that Hari Krishna was a great leader with honesty and simplicity and used to speak frankly with his father NT Rama Rao in 1983.

“Six months ago, he asked me to send a pen with NTR photo on the nib specially from Ratnam Pen Works and the pen was sent to him,” he said. 
He always thinks about the state's development and for the party, Ganni added.

MP Maganti Murali Mohan said he had affiliation with Hari Krishna from decades and acted with him in some movies. He was a good human being and used to help anyone who approached him. 

As an actor and political leader, Hari Krishna proved his mettle and received applause from the people who worked as MLA, minister and Rajya Sabha member. 

His death was a loss to Telugu film industry and to the party. He was a frankly speaking personality and non-controversial leader. He always called me as anna, he told.

Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai said his death was a loss to the party and he was a hero in his real life also and helped many people who approached him. 

Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary said he was a senior leader in the party, who guided his father NT Rama Rao and took utmost care about his father during his Chaitanya Yatra in the state. The party never forget his services, he added.

The party leaders, K Naveen Kumar, V Rambabu, VS Rao, corporators and others paid floral tributes to Hari Krishna.
