Kenes Exhibition, in association with Government of Andhra Pradesh will jointly organise a three day International ‘Agri and Dairy Tech Andhra -2016’ for the first time in the city at A-Convention Center here from February 4 to 6. A poster regarding the event was released by the Kenes Exhibition Chairman RV Rosener here on Monday.

Talking to the news men, Kenes Exhibition General Manager Prema Jilbarban said that the Minister for Agriculture Prathipati Pulla Rao will inaugurate the expo. It is focused on providing an opportunity for farmers to get trained and access to integrated solutions that improve productivity at low input cost through adopting modern techniques.

The three-day event will give a thrust on start-ups working to improve farm productivity and improve water and land usage. “We have reached out to the start-up community. The start-ups will be given two daily slots of one-hour each to meet farmers and agri-service providers,” she said.
Nearly 70 exhibitors are participating in the event.

“The expo will help stakeholders of the sector come together and discuss latest services, products and technologies. Dr K Raja Reddy, Director of Extension, Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University will address the farmers and highlight the role of organic farming in the present day scenario,” she said.

Animal Husbandry Department additional director Kameshwara Rao, Agriculture Department deputy director Jyothi Ramani and Food 360 founder Satish Reddy were also present at the news conference.
