Tirupati: The celestial Hanumantha Vahana Seva which was conducted in Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy temple here on Monday attracted a big number of devotees, who thronged to witness the Seva which was introduced by the TTD in the shrine.

The processional deity of Sri Rama adorned with dazzling jewels was taken in procession, placed on the tastefully decorated Hanumantha Vahanam, in the four mada streets around the temple enthralling the devotees, who have gathered to witness the first Hanumantha Vahana Seva.

Responding to the devotees request for introducing Hanumantha Vahana Seva on Amavasya day, the TTD began the seva on Monday which will be held regularly every month on Amavasya day. It may be noted here that Lord Hanuman, who is known as Siria Thiruvadi occupies a unique place in Vaishnavite tradition as he was considered as embodiment of devotion and Swami bhakti.

TTD Chairman Ch Krishnamurthy, TTD Joint Executive Officer P Bhaskar were among those who were present to witness the vahana Seva.
