YSRCP workers are all set to organise agitations in front of the tehsildar offices at all mandals in Andhra Pradesh on May 2. The protest will highlight the TDP Government\'s failure in tackling the drought situation, drinking water, and irrigation-related issues in the state.

The decision to stage dharnas was taken at a key meeting of the party at Lotus Pond on Tuesday. YSR Congress also decided to organise a Save Democracy Candle Rally on April 25 as a protest against the ruling TDP for encouraging defections from the party. Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with the party MPs, MLAs and MLCs will be taking up the issue of defections with the President, Prime Minister and the Chief Election Commissioner in New Delhi.
