  • YSRCP MLAs N Amarnath Reddy, Sunil, Narayanaswamy likely to switch loyalties
  • YSRCP district convener J Srinivasulu, former MLA CK Babu and his wife Lavanya may join TDP
  • DCCB Chairman A Rajasekhara Reddy keen on joining TDP

The Chief Minister is interested in offering TDP district president post to Amarnath Reddy and also accepted MLA's demand of allocating party ticket to contest from Palamaner Assembly constituency in next Assembly elections. Even, Puthalapattu MLA Sunil and GD Nellore MLA K Narayanaswamy were reportedly unhappy with the YSRCP leadership. Both MLAs want to join TDP for their political survival.

The TDP district leaders are also not against entry of YSRCP district convener J Srinivasulu. A section of TDP leaders are lobbying with the TDP top leaders to allow former Chittoor MLA CK Babu and his wife Lavanya into the party. It is learnt that Lavanya is interested in city Mayor post which has been vacant for the last six months with the gruesome murder of Mayor couple K Anuradha and K Mohan.

Meanwhile, DCCB Chairman A Rajasekhara Reddy, who is the loyalist of former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, has decided to maintain cordial relations with the local TDP leaders. It is learnt that he recently met a few TDP senior leaders and expressed his interest in joining TDP to protect his political career.

The TDP district leaders are mounting pressure on Rajasekhara Reddy to quit his post and join TDP as many party leaders are aspiring for his post. The DCCB Chairman had constructed a new DCCB building at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore and his intention was to inaugurate the building with the Chief Minister.

Recently, Rajasekhara Reddy has made futile efforts to get the Chief Minister’s appointment to request him for an inauguration of DCCB office building and NTR statue which was installed in DCCB office complex. Three days ago, the DCCB Chairman reportedly met Chittoor MLA DK Satyaprabha and other TDP leaders in this regard.
