Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has once again begun questioning the State and Central governments on the issue of Special Category status to Andhra Pradesh. In a series of tweets, the Jana Sena chief asked the MPs from both the ruling and opposition parties in AP to fight for Special Status.

The actor-politician cautioned the BJP government not to commit the same mistake like Congress which 'insulted' the people of Seemandhra at the time of bifurcation.

Pawan Kalyan wrote "Exactly two years ago, Congress party had done a blunder with the unilateral bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh by beating up and throwing the Seemandhra MPs out of the parliament. The people of Seemandhra have not forgotten the gross insult occurred that day. Going back on the promise of special status to the AP today is smashing the Seemandhra people's trust. I wish BJP would not do such mistake. I appeal to the ruling party MPs and Opposition parties' MPs unitedly fight for Special Status in the parliament before people taking to the streets fighting for the Special Status and before doing an agitation, on behalf of Seemandhra people."

It remains to be seen how will the Seemandhra MPs react now.
