Engg students modify bicycle
Six enginering students of SRKR Engineering College in Bhimavaram has innovated a new model bicycle. The cyclist can ride the bicycle without any tiredness or exhaustion.
Bhimavaram: Six enginering students of SRKR Engineering College in Bhimavaram has innovated a new model bicycle. The cyclist can ride the bicycle without any tiredness or exhaustion.
The students of Mechanical Engineering final year -- V Sivanaga Gopi, P Lakshmana Ram Kumar, Ch Pradeep Kumar, N Gowtham Durga Praveen, VSN Hitesh and Md Mujamil have initiated the experiment to invent the new model bicycle.
They fixed two big wheels, a chain sprocket, an axle and hub additionally to the normal bicycle. Even one loads 100 kg weight, one can ride the bicycle without any tiredness up to 70 to 80 km. This bicycle will be useful to farmers, old age people, small traders and dairy farm farmers.
The students under the supervision of Mechanical Engineering Assistant Professor KMNVSA Sivaram have manufactured the bicycle.
The Mechanical Engineering Head K Brahmaraju said this bicycle would be useful in rural agriculture sector. The college principal G Pardhasaradhi Varma and others commended the students for their invention.
