Eamcet medical results today
The State government on Friday announced that the results of Eamcet medical examinations that were kept in abeyance would be released on Saturday. This decision came after the Central government passed an ordinance differing implementation of NEET.
Vijayawada: The State government on Friday announced that the results of Eamcet medical examinations that were kept in abeyance would be released on Saturday. This decision came after the Central government passed an ordinance differing implementation of NEET.
Minister for Health and Medical services, Dr Kamineni Srinivas, said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would release the Eamcet results, here on Saturday. He thanked the Central government for postponing the implementation of the NEET across the country. India that Chandrababu Naidu had agreed to release the results. This would end the agony of over 1.03 lakh students, who have appeared for the medical exam this year through Eamcet. He thanked the Union Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu and Jagat Prakash Nadda for their initiative in giving exemption to the State for one year to join the NEET.
Srinivas said that he had represented the case of the AP medical students and the agony of their parents to the Union government. “The Chief Minister also represented the case with the Centre, which issued ordinance postponing NEET for the next year,” he added.
The ordinance had given a sigh of relief to the students, whose results were withheld following the Supreme Court directive on May 9. Meanwhile, the Eamcet 2016 coordinator, Prof. Ch Saibabu, said that the results of the Eamcet medical and agriculture streams would be released at the Chief Minister’s camp office.
The Minister for Health Dr Kamineni Srinivas, Minister for Human Resources, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, would be present when the results are released.
