Vijay Sai files Rajya Sabha papers
V Vijay Sai Reddy of YSRCP filed the nomination for Rajya Sabha seat on Thursday. Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had taken the decision to nominate Vijay Sai Reddy at a meeting of party leaders held at Lotus Pond on Thursday.

According to sources, Vijay Sai Reddy's nomination was decided unanimously. Salur MLA Rajanna Dora, party senior leader and MLC Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, Pamarru MLA Uppuleti kalpana, Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani and other leaders accompanied Reddy to state Assembly where he filed the nomination.
Speaking to mediapersons, Jaganmohan Reddy said Vijaya Sai Reddy was being fielded for Rajya Sabha election due to his loyalty to the party and ethical values. He also took exception to Telugu Desam supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister for encouraging defections and purchasing their MLAs.
