With the ongoing agitation for a division of the Andhra Pradesh High court in Telangana intensifying in the state, AP Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy pointed out that it was under the Central list and it was not correct to blame the AP government for the failure of the bifurcation.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that AP government even proposed a site in Amaravati for the construction of a High Court building but the Centre had to provide the funds for the construction adding that the AP government or its leaders should not be blamed for the continuation of the status quo in the AP High Court.
