Tummala releases Pachchakarpooram
The Minister dedicated 21,000 copies to Lord Balaji. The book contains 250 pages and highlights the significance of the pilgrimage centre of Tirumala.
Tirumala: Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Wednesday released the book Pachchakarpooram, authored by noted journalist Puranapanda Srinivas, and presented the first copy to the TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
The Minister dedicated 21,000 copies to Lord Balaji. The book contains 250 pages and highlights the significance of the pilgrimage centre of Tirumala.
The TTD Chairman Chadalavada Krishna Murthy eulogised Tummala Nageswara Rao for his gesture of dedicating 21,000 copies to the deity and noted that it stands as a testimony to the cultured person that Tummala was. Sambasiva Rao and his wife Jyotishmati carried silk clothes to Lord Balaji and his two consorts along with a copy of Pachchakarpuram in a silver plate and offered to the deity on a silver plate.
