First lady goods guard in Waltair Division

Lakshmi was appointed as trains’ clerk in Waltair division in 2011 on compassionate grounds after the death of her husband. Later, she qualified for the post of Goods Guard’ in the departmental test and underwent training at the Zonal Railway Training Institute, Sini in November, 2015. After completing the training, she took the independent charge on Thursday and took the goods train to Rayagada.
Visakhapatnam:U H Lakshmi, who took charge as the goods train guard here on Thursday, attended her maiden trip from Vizag Marshalling Yard to Rayagada.
